Save your hands and use these gloves! January 13, 2010 Anne (Baltimore, MD) A friend of mine bought a pair of these for me 2 years ago. At the time, I didn't realize how huge a blessing they would be to me. I have contact dermatitis on my left hand so I have to be very careful about touching things and washing too many dishes. I had to stop wearing contacts because my hands had gotten so rough from handwashing dishes without gloves. I tried cheap gloves, but they got holes in them so quickly and they were hard to wash dishes in. It was always frustrating.
These gloves, on the other hand, are great! I just got contacts again yesterday because my hands are soft enough and smooth enough that I don't think they'll keep tearing the contacts like they used to. These gloves are durable and they are worth the money because they last so much longer than cheap gloves. I wear the medium size and they fit just right. The sizes are pretty accurate.
Almost there December 7, 2009 P. Colbert (Portland, OR, USA) These are almost what I'm looking for. They fit well, are very durable, etc. I don't like that they aren't lined, and even though I'm not allergic to latex, there is a very strong latex smell after taking them off, necessitating a long hand scrubbing, and negating some of the benefit of wearing them in the first place. I'm going to try the "True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves" next, since they're lined, machine washable and non-latex. We'll see.
Only gloves for me! October 4, 2009 Allycat 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just recently had to start washing dishes by hand, which I've never done before. I went through a few different pairs of gloves and they were all too slippery, too cheap, or whatever. I'm so glad I found these!! They aren't slippery at all while doing dishes and they are thick enough that the hot water doesn't bother me. I had to buy them again because somehow the inside got wet (I think my hand was a little wet when I put it on) and then one got moldy inside. :-( But now I'm more careful to make sure that doesn't happen. I bought two more pairs just in case.
I never thought I would have such strong positive feelings about gloves... pink gloves! July 8, 2009 Silvia (Portland, OR) Tired of buying crappy gloves at the supermarket that I had to replace very often, I decided to try to buy something long lasting and well reviewed.
Even though we are not big fans of pink, these are a great acquisition!!!!
I have only owned them for a couple weeks (I will update this if they don't last) but I already love them! You can feel they are strong and will last you.
TIP: Just in case I put tiny cotton balls on the tip of each of the gloves' fingers to protect them from my fingernails.
One more thing: THEY ARE MADE IN THE US!
Isn't it sad that this has become such an uncommon label?
Cotton Flocked? Don't Think So.... June 26, 2009 Ariel I was disappointed to see that these gloves are not "cotton-flocked." I was going to return them but changed my mind. They are heavy weight, well designed, and durable. Over all, I would like the cotton lining but felt that these were worth keeping.
