Great July 21, 2010 Dr. El Presidente (Stillwater, OK) This s dishwasher soap, how much can I say.
They work great and smell great, were packaged good.
The only thing is that ou still need to use jetdry, and besure to run a Summit DM06N 12oz Dishwasher Magic every one to three months, and this will not dissapoint you.
We prerinsh dishes, but not completly thourghouly.
Good product little fragrance February 20, 2010 Troy Hammerstrom (Central Florida) If you plan to buy this product only for the scent you will probably be a little disappointed. Even before the dry cycle has ended it provides very minor fragrance. It does clean well as with similar Cascade products. But the normal Cascade packs which are the actual product in the picture (these are red) or the citrus work just as good and are a bit cheaper.
Also my order never arrived and was replaced after one phone call to Customer Service which is one of the best reasons to shop online with Amazon.
Works well and smells good July 16, 2009 Penmouse 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using the Cascade 2-in-1 Action Packs for several years and by far the Cinnamon Apple Scent is most pleasing to the nose. It also works well when it comes to washing dishes in the dishwasher.
I pop one of the action packs in the dishwasher soap cup and start the dishwasher. Almost every time the dishes come out spotless. I only need 1 pack to clean a load, perhaps it's because I use an older KitchenAid dishwasher. I don't know.
My vote is for this product as it seems to work the best of all the dishwasher detergents available.
increases the risk of clogged dishwasher pumps? June 30, 2009 Anne Greenfield (San Diego, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just had the repairman come out for my dishwasher for another reason, and he told me to never use dishwasher detergent in plastic packs. He said he and his colleagues are seeing frequent service calls for clogged pumps. When they try to do the repair they find that the plastic hasn't melted all the way so the residue clogs and even wraps around the pump.

When I was in second grade, my teacher had us do a science project with dish detergents. She brought all of her leftover dinner plates (lasagna) and we put them in large ziplock bags. We put a different detergent in each bag and almost instantly the one with dawn started showing pieces of food just floating off the plate. The other ones needed our help shaking the bag or scrubbing with a sponge but the dawn one was the only one that we didn't have to use a sponge on to make the plate look clean. For some reason that has always stuck in my head and to this day I use Dawn almost exclusively. So when I first saw these a few years ago I was skeptical until I saw 'Dawn' written on the front. And sure enough, they live up to my standard for Dawn detergent.
I haven't tried this scent yet, but I just placed my order for it.
I have never had pac not dissolve completely so I was a little confused by the person who's directions included removing the empty pack. I don't know the temperature my water heater is set on but I know it's pretty hot - hot enough to always dissolve the pack.
Also, I always use 2 pacs/load. I have two compartments on my dishwasher - main and prewash - and I put a pack in each and then run the dishwasher. I have tried to only use one but it didn't seem like my tervis tumblers or silverware got cleaned all the way. But with two packs, the dishes are almost always completely clean. I do wipe most of my dishes down with a sponge before putting them in the dishwasher, though.
Based on the amazon.com bulk pricing, this scent is more expensive. It breaks down to 22.5 cents per Cinnamon Apple scent and only 14.8 cents per package of the other scents. That does make this one 50% more expensive and I'm not sure why. I've never seen this scent in the store so I don't know if that means it's not popular or if that means that it is so popular they can't keep it on the shelf. At any rate, 5 packs for a little over $20 is fine with me, especially when it lands right at my doorstep and saves me a trip to the store.
