The best dishwasher tabs EVER!! July 13, 2010 R. Nelson I have used Ecover tabs for the past few years and have always been very pleased with their ability to clean ANYTHING off of dishes, pots, pans, etc. I've never had stuck on food, filminess, water drops, or icky bits of dried-on food. I had a coupon for Finish the other day which brought the price of that product to $0.29. Compared to Ecover, the Finish is not even worth the $0.29. I tried the Finish twice, had to run my dishwasher again with the Ecover to get the crud off left over from the Finish. I'm a confirmed Ecover user from now on. Great stuff!!
Finally found it June 19, 2010 D. Webb (Texas) After a long time search for a great Dishwashing Detergent I finally found it. I don't think it has a very strong smell to it and it leaves dishes cleaner than any other natural or unnatural brand I have tried in the past. No residue, no film. Just sparkling clean dishes. I do buy mine at Whole Foods as well. It's much cheaper
The ONLY dishwasher tablet for hard water! June 7, 2010 jottjen I live in a city with extremely hard water and this is the ONLY dishwashing detergent I've found that doesn't leave a film on my glasses, plates and silverware. I've tried all the usual suspects but this is the only one that keeps the hard water film off our stuff. I LOVE it! I used to find it locally at my Henry's store but they stopped carrying it. :-( Thankfully, I got a box of 125 tablets from an Amazon seller recently so I'm good for a while. I'll do whatever I have to to find this stuff!
Cheaper at Whole Foods February 6, 2010 David M. Iannotti (Quahog, Rogues Island(RI)) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
Sporadic residue left behind but far superior to 7th generation powder.
I used to buy them in bulk from Amazon. I now buy them 1 at a time for $5.49 plus tax at Whole Foods. I prefer to buy items in bulk but where's the discount? You actually pay more buying a 6 pack? Sorry Amazon, but you are overpriced on this item.
Best green dishwasher detergent available February 3, 2010 Rebecca Grant-widen I bought four or five different green brands at our local store hoping to find one that would actually clean well. The ecover product was the only one that cleaned my dishes as well as the name brand traditional detergents. I have always needed to rinse dishes well in my dishwasher, so I can't speak to how well this will work if you don't rinse your dishes.
I am very happy to find a green product that works well so I could get rid of using the old stuff. I cannot stand the smell of the chlorine from regular detergents, and have no problems with the product whatsoever.
Excellent product, though the Amazon price is no better than what I can get it for locally, so not worth buying in bulk from Amazon at this point.
