Use this sponge Dry on smoke damage, and you'll never touch a chemical again for that kind of clean-up! On flat surfaces it sucks the soot right up; on masonry (ie: the outside of the fireplace), it acts kinda like an eraser, grinding off plenty of soot-covered rubber. BRILLIANT product! Note: If Anything has touched the surface already (even just fingers - minor transfer of sweat), your results won't be as good, so use this first.
