Smelly Washer is coming out with a new product, Smelly Towel. It does the same thing that Smelly Washer does, but is for your towels. Towel Cleaner was made specifically for towels and clothing. Its gentle formula is designed to remove odor-causing mold from towels and clothing. It's citrus-based formula leaves your towels and clothing smelling like they are new!
Have you ever wondered why towels and clothing build up mold and mild and smell stinky?
Overuse of detergents, using fabric softener and/or using only low water temperatures for washing will cause odor in your washer. The odor-causing residue and mold spores are transferred to towels and clothing and are impossible to remove until the washer has been cleaned. Towels are more plush than clothing therefore absorb more mold spores. Also, towels are used near the face and when wet so odor is noticed more.
How to Use - Wash a full load of towels or clothing with hot water and add 1 level cap (1 TBSP) of Smelly Towel Cleaner in place of Detergent. More extreme cases may need to soak for 2 hours to completely remove odor.

This product shocked me in its ability to rid my towels of that musty, mildew smell. My husand and I have tried everything. We washed our towels with several different types of washing liquid and powder, but no luck. Anyway, I refused to be embarrassed by "smelly towels" when guests visit (which is often), so I thought I would give this product a try. It was the answer to my prayer. The smell is gone and does not return when the towels get wet. My towels are just like new and it doesn't fade the dark towels. If you have "smelly" towels, please give this stuff a try before you waste your money on new ones. I am sure you won't be disappointed if you follow the directions properly.

I had tried every remedy known to man to rid my "smelly" towels of that annoying, persistent, moldy/mildewy smell -- all to no avail. This cleaner finally did the trick in one washing!! I thought it was a little expensive but you only use one tablespoon per wash load so there's probably enough in one bottle to clean every towel in your house. Well worth the money!
